Youth Internship Program
The youth internship program provides Georgetown youth the skills in environmental history research, database management, public speaking and writing/communications that can transfer to related careers.

2022
Summer
We were unable to provide a youth internship program this year.
The GYC has committed to working with Georgetown Open Space to continue the work they started while under in our internship program. We wish all our youth success in all their endeavors.
2021
Six Weeks
Five Duwamish valley youth were recruited to create a walking tour highlighting the neighborhood's environmental history.
2020
Sixteen Weeks
Two Georgetown youth created a video about Gateway Park North with a call to have safe access to the river. This internship led the youth to create the Georgetown Youth Council.
Georgetown Youth Council
Support our Georgetown Youth by donating to their continued efforts and community projects. A new campaign is launched every fall to carry their work into the winter. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to the youth. See their new campaign here -->
